The deadline for ordering shirts and signing up for the district event is May 3.
Information for 2019 LCMS National Youth Gathering:
The Youth Advisory Committee is taking orders for district T-shirts. The cost is $12 per shirt.
The Southern Illinois District is participating in a district event, hosted by Concordia University, St. Paul (CSP). The event will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 14. Please allow for travel time.
The event, a truly Minnesota experience, includes a lumberjack show (log rolling, cross-cut sawing and axe throwing), live music, wall-climbing and buffet dinner. (The menu includes pulled chicken sandwich, walleye sandwich, veggie burger, corn roast, wild rice salad, watermelon, tater tot bar, snicker salad, ice cream and strawberry short cake) The event cost is $30 per person, which includes meal, entertainment and live music.
Transportation is on your own. CSP’s campus is a 10-mile drive from the Convention Center. Parking is available at the campus, including buses. The Metro Green Line transit station is close to Concordia. University. Hosts will greet visitors arriving via the Green Line and lead them back to campus.
